One-day ride enables you far away from noisy cities to reach Rilong, a small town at the foot of Mt Siguniang (Four Sisters or Girls). It has been apotheosized since remote antiquity. The mountain has four peaks. They are the Fourth Girl (6250m), Third Girl (5355m), Second Girl (5276m) and First Girl (5025m). What you about to conquer here is the first peak or second one.

Highlights:

- The Second peak of MT.Siguniang(5276M)

The local calls this peak “elder sister”, but it is the lowest peak of the 4 peaks. The attitude of the peak is 5355M. And there is no plant between 4000M to summit, and it is alpine grassland under 4000M. A lot of yaks and sheeps are living on the grassland. The snow season is from October to April next year, and the snow can be 1 meter thick during autumn or spring. This peak is also the easiest peak to climb in Siguniang Mountain.
2nd peak is right next to the first peak to the north. And it will be little bit harder to climb than the 1st peak, 5454M. To climb the 2nd peak,You will need to trek/ride a horse to base camp in Haizigou in D1, and march to the peak on D2. Then back to Rilong town.

Day 1 Drive from Chengdu to Rilong (220 km, 4 hours driving) Meet your driver ,heading for the Rilong town which is located on the foot of Mt. Siguniang. You will pass Dujiangyan , Wolong Panda base. continue driving to Mt. Siguniang. Have lunch at the mountain foot. In the afternoon, you will be reaching 4500M height on Balangshan mountain pass. On Balangshan, you will have big chances to see wild life and magnificent view of series of snow peaks and “ cloud sea”. After passing the Balangshan pass, you will be arriving the best view point of Mt. Siguniang shortly. From the Maobiliang view point, you can get a whole picture of Mt. Siguniang all four peaks. You will be arriving the hotel in the afternoon on Rilong town, have some rest in hotel and acclimate the high attitude here. Dinner will be prepared at hotel restaurant. Overnight in Rilong

Day 2 Trek 5 -7 hours for 16 KM to BC of second Peak B+L+D Route : Rilong town - Dajianbao - Jipengzi - Base camp of second peak. Trek from Rilong to the Base Camp of the first peak along Haizigou Gully, whose main landscape is of alpine meadows and lakes. Your horse will carry the tents and sleeping bags and other heavy stuff for you. So you will not carry too much when walking in an attitude more than 4400m. After your arrival in base camp, your horseman will set up the camp and cook for you. Overnight at Tent

Day 3 Trek 5 hours to Second peak Summit , then to Rilong town . B+L+D Trek from the BC to reach the summit of the Second peak (5276m).Today you will trek into an even higher attitude, so you paste will be slower. When we reach the summit of second peak , we climb down to Rilong town . Overnight at Rilong

Day 4 drive back to Chengdu B Morning after breakfast , take about 4 hours driving time back to Chengdu . Tour ends .
